GMW Restoration Services were retained to supply and apply High Voltage Insulator Coatings in Newfoundland and Labrador on Canada’s east coast. The coating parameters were to help control and reduce arcing and flashover as well as curbing voltage leaking while minimizing service requirements and maintenance windows.
The coating in the attached images goes on battleship gray, coating over the reddish-brown of the untreated insulator.
