Project: High Rise Painting
Details
GMW Restoration Services was contracted to repaint this Toronto high rise. The building is of steel construction with no balconies and consisting of an expansive vertical edifice requiring use of swing stages in order to access and complete. We are certified in swing-stage setup and use.
The building was repainted in three different colours using an electrostatic painting process (e-coating). Electrostatic painting is a very efficient painting process which has less than 5% over spray loss and better adhesion and wrap-around to anomalies in the surface. Adhesion is also greatly increases as the paint forms an iconic bond to the metal as both the painting equipment and the surface being painted carry an electrostatic charge.
